One Stop Business Finance (OSBF) is delighted to announce the promotion of Liam Killen to Business Development Director, recognising his outstanding contribution to the business since joining in July 2022.
Liam has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting clients, building lasting relationships, and delivering tailored financial solutions that make a real difference to businesses across a wide range of sectors. His ability to understand complex situations and provide clear, effective funding strategies has played a key role in OSBF’s continued growth.
In his new role, Liam will head up Team North-West, leading the company’s presence and expansion across the West of England and Wales. This marks an exciting step forward, both for Liam and for OSBF’s regional growth strategy, as the business continues to strengthen its support for clients and introducers in these areas.
Liam brings with him a wealth of experience, having worked in commercial finance since 2007. His background includes nine years specialising in invoice finance, followed by a focus on property and bridging finance from 2016 onwards. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for delivering practical, results-driven solutions, and was recognised as ABFA Top Diploma Student in 2015.
During his time at OSBF, Liam has achieved significant success, including being named Top Performing Business Development Manager. His work has included supporting businesses through both growth and more challenging periods, with a focus on protecting jobs, improving cash flow, and enabling long-term stability.
Recent deals and impact:
Liam has recently supported a number of complex transactions, including a multi-million-pound refinance for a business operating within the hospitality sector.
The client faced a potential forced sale following a breakdown in their relationship with an existing lender. OSBF stepped in to refinance the existing debt, giving the business time and control to manage the sale process on their own terms and ultimately achieve a more favourable outcome.
This type of support reflects OSBF’s flexible, commercial approach, working closely with clients to find solutions in situations where more traditional lenders may not be able to assist.
Reflecting on his promotion, Liam said:
