Sales & Admin Executive

Amelia joined One Stop Business Finance in October 2025 as a Sales and Admin Executive. She gained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of York, after studying a vast array of subjects ranging from social and cognitive development, abnormal psychology, and moral political and philosophical psychology. A highlight of hers was having the ability to conduct a study in her final year, researching the effect of sleep on eyewitness testimonies. Her studies allow her to think critically and work with an analytical mind, while also being able to adapt to the many different facets of the job.

Following on from her studies, Amelia travelled for 6 months, and became a head chef in a small business on her return to York. Since starting at One Stop Business Finance, she has been able to take on a large variety of roles, despite having come into the job from a completely different background. The collaborative and engaging office dynamic, alongside an ever-changing landscape of new businesses and deals, means there is never a dull day at work!

Outside of work, Amelia enjoys going on long walks in the surrounding Yorkshire landscape. When classic English weather stops this from happening, you will probably find her inside hiding in a book (or three!) due to her love of literature.
