Business Development Director

Chris is Business Development Director at One Stop Business Finance, covering the Eastern Region and leading a growing team of four. He joined OSBF after more than 25 years in specialist funding, starting as a mortgage broker and progressing through professional specialist funding, insurance premium finance, and secured lending within the SME sector.

Between 2009 and 2022, Chris co-founded and ran his own lender, specialising in short-term funding for annual renewable fees and membership funding across the professions, leisure, and insurance sectors. This experience gives him a strong understanding of the challenges businesses face when managing cash flow and accessing the right funding at the right time.

Since joining One Stop Business Finance in 2024, Chris has progressed into his role as Business Development Director and now manages a personal loan book of £10 million. One of his most memorable deals involved supporting a zoo with funding to redevelop its park into a destination venue, helping transform the business and create long-term value.

Chris takes a practical, relationship-led approach to funding. At One Stop Business Finance, he works closely with introducers, accountants, insolvency practitioners, and brokers to deliver tailored funding solutions that meet the needs of SMEs. His focus is always on understanding each situation and providing clear, straightforward support through often complex financial decisions.
