Mike joined One Stop Business Finance in September 2026, bringing with him a strong commercial outlook, plenty of industry experience and a real enthusiasm for working with people. He enjoys the variety that comes with the job and the challenge of finding the right solution, particularly when things aren’t quite as straightforward as they first appear.
With more than 20 years’ experience in financial services, Mike has spent much of his career in the world of broking and commercial finance. Over the years, he’s worked for some of the industry’s biggest names, as well as running his own business, giving him a wealth of experience and a genuine understanding of the people and businesses behind the numbers.
For Mike, relationships are at the heart of good business. He takes the time to get to know his clients and introducers, understand what they’re trying to achieve and, where possible, find a way to make it happen. He believes trust is earned over time, through being approachable, doing what you say you’ll do and being there when people need you.
Away from work, Mike spends as much time as he can with his family. He’s a Leeds United supporter, loves his music and enjoys getting in the kitchen, especially when there’s an opportunity to cook for family and friends. Big on personality and never short of a conversation, Mike brings energy, warmth and a healthy dose of humour to whatever he gets involved in.
