Rachel Mackenzie is a Business Development Director at One Stop Business Finance, having joined the business in October 2017. She has a strong background in business ownership and frontline service. She brings a practical, people-focused approach to supporting SMEs with their funding needs.

Before joining One Stop Business Finance, Rachel co-owned and ran her own bakery business. This gave her first-hand experience of running and growing a small business. Alongside this, she also worked as a retained firefighter. This role developed her resilience, adaptability, and ability to make clear decisions under pressure. These experiences continue to shape her approach to business development today.

As a Business Development Director at One Stop Business Finance, Rachel works closely with insolvency practitioners, brokers, accountants, and business owners. She takes the time to understand each client’s circumstances and deliver tailored funding solutions. She supports a wide range of funding requirements. This includes helping clients manage cash flow, invest in growth, or navigate more complex financial situations.

Rachel takes a relationship-led approach to her work. She focuses on building trust and long-term partnerships with introducers and clients. Her hands-on experience as a business owner allows her to offer clear and straightforward support. At One Stop Business Finance, she plays a key role in delivering a flexible and responsive service.

Outside of work, Rachel spends most of her time with her children and dogs. She enjoys exploring the outdoors in their motorhome and making the most of family life.
