I have been with OSBF for the past seven years, a journey that has been rewarding. During this time, I’ve had the privilege of being part of a dynamic team committed to helping businesses grow and succeed.

Why did you join OSBF?

While I often joke that I was held at ransom by my father, who happens to be our Managing Director Andrew, the truth is I am with OSBF because of the incredible people I work with.

What sets OSBF apart from other funding providers?

It’s not just about closing deals – it’s about forming lasting relationships and delivering value. That dedication to making a real difference is what makes OSBF feel like home.

What did you do before joining OSBF?

Before joining OSBF, my career path was anything but conventional. I made a complete career shift, moving from the worlds of confectionery and firefighting into finance.

While I didn’t have any formal industry experience, I did bring with me the hands-on knowledge of running a business. That entrepreneurial background has given me a unique perspective on the challenges our clients face. It helps me relate to their needs and better understand how to help them succeed.

What is your OSBF highlight?

One of the highlights of my time at OSBF was being part of Team North when we achieved £10 million in new business lending in our previous financial  year.

This milestone is a testament to the collective effort, expertise, and commitment of our team.
