David Jockel

Non Executive Director

David Jockel has worked with One Stop Business Finance since May 2016 in a Non-Executive Director capacity. In his part-time role, David provides strategic business development input alongside underwriting support, helping guide the continued growth and long-term direction of the business.

Before joining OSBF, David built an extensive career with Lloyds Bank, where he spent 33 years in a variety of credit underwriting and relationship management roles within the SME Banking team. His decades of experience in commercial lending, risk assessment, and client relationships have brought valuable insight and stability to the business.

David has been proud to play a part in OSBF’s journey, helping the company grow from a small own-book lender into an established business that now supports clients across England and Wales. Supporting that growth while maintaining a robust, profitable, and client-focused lending model has been one of the highlights of his time with the business.

He also values the trust placed in him by shareholders and stakeholders, and takes pride in helping shape a business that continues to evolve while staying true to its values.

Outside of work, David has a keen interest in medieval history, enjoys singing in a choir, and makes time to get to the gym at least three times a week.
