Andrew Mackenzie has been at the helm of the One Stop Business Finance Group since its humble beginnings in 2014, driving the business to be the success that it is today. Andrew is responsible for not only running One Stop Business Finance, but also securing the funding to do our deals.

Andrew loves working with a great team of people to build a business which is unique in the industry because of both its culture and responsible attitude toward secured, responsible lending.

He’s a self-confessed ‘workaholic’, and when isn’t in the office, adores spending time with his partner in crime, Amanda, and two grandsons, Lenny, and Jack.

Having thrived in Invoice Finance for almost 20 years, Lynn-Marie brings her wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to the team as Managing Director of One Stop Invoice Finance.

In the most recent years, Lynn-Marie has dealt with owner-managed businesses, where she has seen how helping with finance can have a real, meaningful impact. She is now at the most exciting point of her career where she is involved in establishing a new product and business within the group.

In Lynn-Marie’s spare time, you’ll find her using her creativity in colourful interior design projects for her family home and holiday lets, spending time in the outdoors, delving into a good book, and enjoying precious time with her husband and two children.

David has worked as a valued member of One Stop Business Finance for over 6 years. Having spent 33 Years with Lloyds Bank, David now acts as a sounding board for the Executive team and shares his years of experience and knowledge, helping us grow into a sustainable business that supports SMEs.

David also uses his network to help grow the business both on the funding and lending side.

When David isn’t working alongside our team and 6 other clients, he loves participating in triathlons and other sporting activities. He is heavily involved in organising, volunteering, and marshalling at sporting events including C2C2C, a 100-mile charity bike ride!

Financial Controller

Elizabeth has been with One Stop Business Finance since January 2017 and has played a crucial role in supporting our growth to where we are today.

Elizabeth’s role as Financial Controller includes overseeing budgets, foresting, banking, and supporting client management, to name but a few of her responsibilities.

When she isn’t delving into a perfectly formed spreadsheet, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her two children, being active at clubbercise, and painting.

Having been in finance for almost 25 years, John joined the One Stop Business Finance team in 2019. His primary role is to undertake our due diligence and manage each transaction from inception to completion.

John takes the time to prepare and listen to each of our clients to understand their needs and provide unbiased advice as to what solutions could be available.

In his spare time, you’ll find John at his happiest when enjoying time in the great outdoors. In particular, John has a passion for cycling, skiing, walking and camping. His friends would describe him as someone who has a keen eye for detail and a good sense of humour (hopefully…)!

Tracey joins the team as our Operations and Risk Director for One Stop Invoice Finance. Having spent 13 years at a high-street bank and 8 at a challenger. Tracey contributes her 21 years of experience in Invoice Finance to the team.

Tracey’s favourite hobbies include travelling both in the UK and abroad, going to concerts and the theatre. Separate from that, she is always up for trying new things with her friends - Tracey recently had her first go at steering a canal boat for the day, which was successfully returned it in the same condition!

She’s looking forward to adding paddle boarding and a hot air balloon ride to her list in the near future.

Business Development - North

Rachel Mackenzie
Business Development Director

Rachel has been a part of the One Stop Business Finance team for five years. She has progressed from a Business Development Manager to more recently, leading the Northern sales team as a Business Development Director.

Rachel’s current role entails supporting her sales team and providing finance to businesses that are unable to secure it through conventional routes.

Rachel’s friends would describe her as “kind, thoughtful, and compassionate but opinionated”. When Rachel isn’t hard at work, she enjoys spending much-loved time with her family and walking her three dogs.

Steve has enjoyed a successful career in finance and gleans upon his 34 years of experience, in his role at One Stop Business Finance.

As the Business Development Manager for Lincolnshire, Peterborough and Nottinghamshire, Steve has the delight of meeting with Clients and Professional introducers to keep them up to date on any new offerings we may have, either in-house or via our brokerage team.

Whilst you may meet Steve networking on the golf course, he also enjoys the sport in his spare time, too. When he isn’t enjoying his favourite pastime, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

Steve's friends describe him as "a little crazy (but fun!), reliable and very caring".
Helen Dale
Business Development Manager

Helen, our Business Development Manager covering the West Midlands North, has enjoyed a career spanning over 30 years in finance. She is immensely proud that she always offers the best client experience and thoroughly enjoys that her role takes her to meet new people.

Helen’s typical day involves networking; meeting clients, introducers, and meeting new potential introducers. She is particularly fond that we can offer clients solutions when they have been declined by banks.

When Helen isn’t out networking, she enjoys walking her dogs and spending quality time with her son, Jude and partner, Gav. She is also an avid football fan, loves to read, and enjoys a good glass of wine (or two!).
Liam Killen
Business Development Manager

Liam’s role with One Stop Business Finance sees him cover the Greater Manchester region, where he works hard to build and maintain relationships with introducers as a Business Development Manager.

Liam contributes his wealth of knowledge and 13 years of experience in the finance industry to our team. On a personal development note, Liam is most proud of winning the ABFA Top Diploma Student Award!

In his personal life, Liam is a lifelong suffering fan of Bolton Wanderers. Although he is new to the sport of golf, Liam has very much caught the golf bug (like many others in the team!). He also thoroughly enjoys a pub quiz and spending wholesome weekends with his family taking his dog, Otis, for walks.
Ben Clarke
Business Development Manager

Ben joins the One Stop Business Finance team after spending 18 months in the Finance Industry. Throughout his career, Ben has excelled in building and maintaining relationships, which is proving crucial in his role when working closely with introducers and business owners.

Ben has joined the One Stop Business family as a Business Development Manager covering Stockport, Merseyside, Warrington, Chester, and North Wales. He is excited to join an established, enterprising company that allows him to be more involved in the credit processes.

Ben’s friends would describe him as someone who likes to work and play hard. His favourite pastimes include going to the gym weight training, spending time in the outdoors mountain biking, and wait for it… Pecorino!
Cameron King
Business Development Manager

Cameron joins us in Yorkshire after a successful spell in retirement planning in Melbourne, Australia. Most recently, he has been involved in two e-commerce start-up businesses on the back of lockdown.

With an interest in finance and a genuine passion for selling a product or service that he is passionate about, Cameron is a believer that generally in finance, you are assisting people in fulfilling their dreams. Covering the Yorkshire and Humberside regions, Cameron will be representing One Stop Business Finance; spreading the good word on our bespoke and friendly approach to alternative finance.

Spending his free time playing both tennis and cricket in leagues around Yorkshire, Cameron is self-confessed 'sports-mad' - he is also a new but very casual golf player.
Terry Thorpe
Business Development Manager

Terry joins the One Stop Business Finance team with over 25 years in financial services covering protection, pensions and investments, home Improvement and renewables. Now, your local Business Development Manager covering Lancashire, Cumbria and parts of West Yorkshire, Terry's role will see him developing old relationships as well as making new ones across the Banking and Accountancy sectors. 

Terry enjoys spending valuable time with his daughters and five-year old Granddaughter, as well walking on the West Pennine Moors with his partner. Also a keen golfer and follower of Bolton Wanderers "(the good times are coming back!)", Terry, like many of our team members, enjoys sport and the great outdoors. The organiser, smiley but sometimes grumpy is how his friends would describe him.

Danielle Evans
Business Development Director

Joining One Stop Business Finance with over 16 years of experience in the finance industry, Danielle brings her wealth of knowledge from building societies, banks, and bridging and development lenders to her role.

As Business Development Director, Danielle will continue to support her key introducers, whilst helping her team build on their networks and find a home for complex cases where a common sense approach is needed.

In her personal time, Danielle is an avid gym-goer and has recently signed up for a Netball league. She loves to spend time with her family, travelling whenever she can, and eating out at lovely restaurants. Her friends describe her as "One of the most driven, funny, caring people we know who would go out of their way to help anyone."
David Cowe
Business Development Manager

Having worked in the banking and finance world for over 36 years, David joined the One Stop Business Finance team with a wealth of knowledge in Asset Finance Sales and Account Management.

As a Business Development Manager for the East Midlands region, David spends his days networking with introducers, searching for opportunities, and writing up and submitting deals.

In his personal time, David loves watching primarily England and Leicester Tigers. He enjoys an active lifestyle and can be found hiking in the countryside. 

David is also immensely proud that he has been volunteering at a youth camp for over 30 years, which he and his own children have been a part of.
Chris Meyer
Business Development Manager

Chris Meyer joins the team with over 30 years of experience in the Financial Sector. Most recently, he spent over 13 years at Orchard Funding, where he was successful in assisting in the AIM listing - perhaps, his greatest achievement!

In Chris' personal time, he is an avid car collector and has an impressive assortment of 15 classic “fast Fords”. A ‘teenager’s dream’ that his family are still yet to understand.

Chris additionally occasionally plays Support Artist roles in film and TV productions. He was a featured Support Act for the UN Climate Change Council - an Oscar-winning performance, some may say!

Chris is your trusted, local Business Development Manager for Commercial Finance in Cambridgeshire, Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk.
Shaun Kidson
Business Development Manager

Shaun joins the One Stop Business Finance team with 19 years behind him in the Finance Industry. Throughout his career, Shaun has excelled in making significant contributions to his team and building up his network.

Covering Birmingham, Warwickshire and Derbyshire, Shaun has a strong property, trading, and working capital background. His role involves sourcing new lending opportunities, dealing with these promptly and supporting small businesses across his area. 

Shaun enjoys and participates in sporting activities - in his younger days, he played non-league football and league cricket (in which he is still involved). His children take up most of his spare time these days!
Leanne Jones
Business Development Manager

Leanne has been in the financial Industry for almost 23 years, taking on a variety of roles within banking, predominantly at Lloyds Bank. The proudest moment in her career was launching a new bank on the Welsh high street.

When your bank or brokers are unable to offer a solution, that's where we can step in and offer flexible bespoke options to improve your cash flow and achieve business growth. With an array of funding solutions from short-term bridging loans to invoice finance, Leanne is spreading the good word about our products across the South of Wales.

An early riser, Leanne is a believer that there is nothing better than a walk around the Gower coast, soaking in the sea air and popping somewhere for a nice coffee! She is described as caring, resilient and fun, by her closest friends and family, and we are delighted to have her in the team.
Rhay Sison
Business Development Manager

Rhay joins the One Stop Business Finance team, having worked in various roles within the Financial Service sector over the past 5 years. His proudest accomplishment in his career so far is when he started giving professional financial advice, allowing him to help people achieve their dream goals.

Looking to support business within the NP, HR, GL and WR postcode areas, Rhay builds relationships with professional individuals as well as clients, who may just be looking for a solution to finance an ambition of theirs.

In Rhay's spare time, he enjoys playing basketball and chess, solving puzzles and spending hours online looking at cars - a couple are on his wish list for the future! His closest friends describe him as "ambitious, friendly, and a crazy genius!"
Nigel Staples
Business Development Manager

Nigel has helped hundreds of local businesses reach their goals and ambitions over the past thirty-three years - this is what he is most proud of.

Having worked in various roles across Relationship Management, Taxation and Accountancy and Anti-Money Laundering, Nigel brings his wealth of knowledge to his role as Business Development Manager at One Stop Business Finance. He is delighted to be able to continue helping people and joins in the inception of our 'Southern Team'.

At weekends, you will find Nigel playing golf or tennis. He has retired from playing football and cricket, but still enjoys watching, of course! Nigel also enjoys spending time with his closest friends and family members.

Steve Chapman
Portfolio Manager

We are delighted that Steve Chapman has joined the One Stop Business Finance team as our Portfolio Manager. Steve contributes his 38 years of experience in the finance industry to our growing team. 

He is most proud of supporting a wide range of Customers and Clients, large and small, across the North of England at Lloyds Banking Group.

Steve's role is vital to looking after our Clients, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service and supporting their needs through changes to an existing facility, or providing additional products. By helping in nurturing the relationships with our Clients, we are able to have a deeper understanding of a Client's business and both support / assist with manage problems.

When Steve isn't hard at work, he enjoys time in the outdoors - gardening, dog walking and enjoying his local beaches. 

In addition, Steve has a passion for live music, classic cars, motorsports and science - anything to do with astronomy / space!

Fay Waudby-Green
Assistant Portfolio Manager

Fay joins the One Stop Business Finance team from the hospitality and sporting industries, having gathered extensive experience across numerous departments, including finance.

Over several years she has progressed in her career, having been promoted to General Manager for a large Hostel and Stable complex at York Racecourse. Her time there saw her increase turnover by 300% in their first year, achieving number-one status in the national rankings for Stable Staff facilities!

Fay, in her own words, is kind, caring and a loyal friend who her friends rely on. 

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and two unruly dogs, on country walks; time at the coast, or relaxing in her garden with a good book. She is an avid follower of the WSL, where last summer’s Euro victory lives long in her memory!

Emma Harris
Broker Manager

Our Broker Manager, Emma, has been in finance for seven years. Emma looks after the Broker side of the business which means that she helps businesses find the right funding solution when our own-book products may not fit the bill. Emma enjoys being a part of a fantastic friendly team with big growth ideas.

Emma’s perfect start to the day would be a run by the seaside. She adores the coast and going with her family, whatever the unpredictable English weather. Her closest friends would describe her as “kind and strong, with a fun sense of humour” - we certainly agree!
Ella Marie Stubbs
Marketing Manager

After spending over six years in marketing across hospitality, recruitment, and industrial industries, Ella joined the One Stop Business Finance team in July 2022 as Marketing, Communications and Events Manager.

With a true passion for storytelling and creative omnichannel marketing, she’s excited to be working in her first role within the finance industry and applying her experience to the business.

When Ella isn’t enjoying her time in the idyllic York office, she loves to spend time with her friends, enjoying delicious food, and a long hike on a Sunday. When she isn’t busy planning her next city break, she will be more than likely spending a little too much on her wardrobe…
Dawn Stone
Office Manager

Before joining One Stop Business Finance, Dawn spent 11 years as a Finance Officer for a local school. Dawn has now been with the team since September 2018 and is often the first point of call for telephone enquiries to the office – so please do give her a “Hello!”

As Office Manager, Dawn keeps all our stationery in check, prepares quarterly statements for our private funders, and is our overall go-to for all things ‘organisation’ (and frequently, IT support!)

Dawn is married to a firefighter and has two grown-up children. She takes pride in her role as a trustee for a charity which supports 11-18-year-olds in her hometown. You’ll often find Dawn on the local playing fields organising weekly sports events.
